This week was just wonderful, it was my first week in the kindergarten, first time working with children in my life! I didn't know what to expect but one thing is for sure: I love kids! Ten tydzień był po prostu wspaniały, to był mój pierwszy tydzień w przedszkolu, po raz pierwszy w pracy z dziećmi w moim życiu! Nie wiedziałem, czego się spodziewać, ale jedno jest pewne: Kocham dzieci!

We had tons of fun together and we played many funny games together and interesting activities where they learned new English and Spanish words. At the same time, it was really hard for me to understand them, actually I did not understand most of the things they were saying! The good thing about it all is that when you ask them "what is this?" they'd answer happily, no matter how many times you'd ask the same thing! I also tried repeating the last words on their sentences and then ask: "what is that word?" and they'd try to explain me! Mnóstwo czasu spędzaliśmy razem na zabawie, graliśmy w wiele zabawnych gier. Odbywały się także ciekawe zajęcia, podczas których dzieci uczyły się nowych angielskich i hiszpańskich słów. Wszystko odbywało się w tym samym czasie. Trudno było mi zrozumieć co do mnie mówią. Jednak wspaniałe jest to, że za każ dym razem, kiedy pytałem je np. "co to jest?" i bez względu na to ile razy zadawałem to samo pytanie, one z uśmiechem, cierpliwie odpowiadały. Próbowałem także powtarzać ostatnie słowa z ich wypowiedzi i pytałem co one oznaczają, wtedy dzieci chętnie mi tłumaczyły.
Some of the kids already love me and hug me so hard when they see me, it's a great feeling having these children loving you even though I cannot speak in their language! It's funny 'cause when I tell them that I don't speak Polish (in Polish), they reply: "of course you speak, polish, in fact you speak very well!" hahaha. Niektóre dzieci już mnie pokochały i kiedy tak mocno mnie przytulają jak mnie zobaczą, to jest najwspanialsze uczucie. Okazują mi tyle sympatii Mio tego, że nie mówię w ich języku. Zabawne jest to, że kiedy mówię im ,że nie potrafię mówić w języku polskim, one odpowiadają: „oczywiście, że potrafisz, mówisz bardzo dobrze”. hahaha
We went out different times to have a walk and pick some leaves and they loved it and had fun with all the different colors and sizes in this cold autumn. Wybraliśmy się na spacer, by pozbierać trochę liści. Bardzo dobrze się przy tym bawiliśmy. Dzieci cieszyły się, bawiły się kolorowymi liśćmi w różnych wielkościach i o różnych kolorach.

I have two different classrooms, the first one is with more than 24 children and the second one with more or less 15 children! Marzena which is the teacher of the first class is so nice with me and Gokhan! I hope I can fulfill her expectations in the kindergarten, since she was the one that choose me! Mam dwie różne grupy, pierwsza z nich liczy ponad 24 dzieci a druga z mniej więcej 15 dzieci! Marzena, która jest nauczycielką w pierwszej grupie jest bardzo miła dla mnie i Gokhana! Mam nadzieję, że będę mógł spełnić jej oczekiwania podczas mojego pobytu w przedszkolu, ponieważ ona była tą, która mnie wybrała!
At the end of the week, Marzena organized a very interesting activity with the children about volcanos, and she even created a small volcano experiment to show them how volcanos work, they just loved it! Pod koniec tygodnia, Marzena zorganizowała bardzo ciekawe zajęcia z dziećmi na temat wulkanów, i nawet powstał mały eksperyment - wulkan, aby pokazać dzieciom, czym jest wulkan i co się w nim odbywa. Byliśmy zachwyceni!
