The blog is on fire!

During winter holdays we had the opportunity to visit the closest fire station. First the firemen showed different way to turn off the fire, with different technics.

 

But after some examples of how to turn off fire, they showed his trucks and devices as firehoses. We can see here the firemen opposite the children acting as an emergency. 

Then we went inside the building. They gave all the children a lesson about first aid, and even some of them practiced the process. 

Finally they had time to enjoy, discover and even touch many things from firemen equipment.

Everybody wanted to feel themselves in a real truck and it was funny for 3 of us too as you can see ;)

Happy Friends Day!

Last week in our kindergarten took place new and very excited feast! We celebrated World Frienship Day!

Values are very important nowadays, so we decided to make this week something different, the friendship day, with the idea of pani Marzena we started doing some craft presents, and in the last week we have been working on it.

Here you can see some volunteers making their crafts with the children and helping them:

Children prepare his presents in their clases. Each group made a different present. You can see it in the photos.

Each classroom of each volunteers did one different present to give to other class. So the main purpose of the event was to show the children the value of friendship and sharing.  Teachers, some helpers, volunteers and children tried to work more or less together to reach our common goal. These gifts were made with a great pleasure and passion by kids, they have created decoration with candles, spinning tops, balls for the game and pen-holders. 

 On the photos you can see that just small present can make mood of every person much better! We will continue working in some events like that remark the importance of friendship and respect in the live.

As a conclusion of this day we can say, that the kindergarten can work as a team, with the effort of all the people, of course is more difficult to work together but we can reach better results.

Winter holidays - Ferie zimowe

As everybody know schools and high schools have two weeks holidays by this time. So only volunteers are working now. Well, "working", but we have the help of some of the staff of the kindergarten, as teachers and helpers. We could say that we are taking these two weeks as a relax working.

This photo represents the few live is now the kindergarten.

But these days are a good chance to use the time to prepare next events. Volunteers are ready now for the Friendship Day! We tried to do our best with the official poster of this day, and that is the final result. Sorry, but the volunteer (Maia) is not included in the poster!

                                                                                                                                                              Anyway, we are in the kindergarten, it means we also have children, may be not too much but enough children to help the staff with some changes in the decoration. For example removing christmas decoration. 

On the other hand, the children who decided to come are not booring, of course, teachers have activities for all of them to make funnier the days.

Theatres, films, music, tales, puzzles. Although not only children are enjoying activities, and challenges. Here  you can see volunteers working hard to finish some of the puzzles, no one could say this puzzle was for the children... 

Well we took the photo when the puzzle was already finished. Two hours later of the beginning...

At the moment this is all in in Przedskole 176, next weeks we will be back with more activities, more news and we hope MORE CHILDREN.

Great carnival after holidays!

Hello! Back to the kindergarten after holidays, we all have more events. All the volunteers were happy to be here again all together and alive, all of them had a beautiful holidays in theirs own countries.




One example of the return of the volunteers
were the theatre activities they did in some classes.

Children had amazing and very interesting carnival before winter-vocations. New costumes, a lot of sweets, Indians and Cowboys, dances and smiles - it is all about "Zabawy", which took place this week in kindergarten. =)

This week we also had special events in honor of all the lovely babcia and dziadek, We really hope they enjoyed it and they had some delicious food too. Children presented handmade gifts for grandparents, they tried to make this day special for them. Singing, dancing and declaiming poems, we can do more!!!

We will see ypu again after the winter holidays, with more photos of the grandfathers events and with more histories.

Theatres and performances

Christmas atmosphere is feeling on the kindergarten, parties, theatres, performances, etc. Parents enjoy it too.

We had a break with the parents it was a really good moment of sharing family mood.

Funny theatres too.

Clara and Maia are here again! we hope they enjoy this week, although some of the volunteers are going back home for short holidays.

Non Stop activities in Przedskole 176

Almost finishing the week the children are taking a rest of the volunteers, Clara and Maia are travelling this week and the kindergarten is more relaxing.

But last week all of the volunteers did our "work" and some  grups as 4 and 5 worked about theatre, acting drawing, learning vocabulary, waering costumes.











Also group 6 went last week to take the prize of the contest they won. We could see the children with their beautiful traditional costumes.

Święty Mikołaj week!

On Thursday group 4 and 6 were at the National Museum in Krakow. Group 5 learnt how was the gastronomy in the 19th Century.

On Friday it was the visit of Santa Claus in our kindergarten. Kids were excited to meet him. He was very nice with all of us because he offered us gifts. In return and to say thank you kids sang Christmas songs !!
