April - wycieczka i konkurs

It's time for news pictures, a little bit old but still good to see and to remember. During April, we went to visit the Wawel, and I have to assume I'd never visited it before (I mean, the museum, inside). 

We spend a nice time there, splitting the two groups in two differents places. I went with the 7th group to a museum where we could see what the Knights were wearing on the medieval time. We saw some sword, armor, and traditional costumes. A guide was giving us some explanations about the use of all of this. And at the end, the boys were lucky because they became Knights, they had been knighted with the sword. And we learnt a special dance of this time.

I just remember a sentence quite funny from one child who asked me at the end of the visit: "But Lucille, this had really existed or it's not true? Naprawde? ..." 

We finished this visit a little bit hungry. It was good because I'd just came back from Slovakia the day before and I brouhgt some slovakian chocolate, so we ate it meanwhile we were waiting for the bus.



Another day, we wnt to Nowa Huta for a konkurs about ecologia. The children sang some ecological songs and recited some poems they learnt. There was a lot of people, and also others przedszkole (I met some volunteers who were with their group :) ).

At the end of the performance, a MPK bus was waiting for us, and we took it. We were alone, it was like a private taxi, what an honour!

 The bus stopped in a recycling center, where our garbage are sorted, according to their material. There is a special bin for metal, computer, television, sofa, and so on...

Here they have a special scale to know how many weight they have in the trucks. And this is the result how much weight do we represent with the bus and all of us inside.

W finished both of those days coming back to the kindergarten, where the "drugi sniadanie" was waiting for us!

A.R.T.U.R.

Last Friday, Artur was  performed in culture center ,“ dom kultury”. It means is artistic tournament

The children that came from different kindergarten performed several representation and sang songs.

Children sang two songs. One of them is Kiss kiss or Şımarık from Tarkan. It is most well-known  Turkish song fpr 15 years. it never becomes old :) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cKYeODP-Sek

21th March: zapraszamy wiośna!

Everybody say here that we are lucky, because the Winter this year was not so strong and so cold as usual. For me, still it was quite cold, because we don’t use to have temperatur es less than zero. And in a way, it would have not been a problem if we had more snow… But now, spring is coming!

Everybody is speaking about the weather those days and also about the 21th of March: Day of spring. In France, we don’t use to celebrate it. But I heard that here there is a special tradition, to say goodbye to the Winter. And it was with a beautiful Sun, in the hot test Day of March, that we said goodbye to the Winter.

For that, we build some Marzanna, kind of big puppet. As the tradition wants, we burned them All together, for that we went to the firemen. When I say We, I mean all the przedszkole and the school.  So you can imagine that we were quite a lot, walking to the firemen place.

Besides we arrived, and the firemen made a fire for burning the puppets. And of course, they extinguish the fire, coming with the big truck, showing how they do and how they work.

After that, the special Day was not finisz, coz we went to the school with Dorota, Marzena and Gosia’s group for a spring concours. It was a running concours, which took place on the gimnasium, with some class of the school. The children participated, class by class, running as fast as possibile, following some parcours. Everyone did all he can, they were very motivated and they all deserved prices: some cups and sweets.

After this we came back to the przedszkole quite tired, but happy in this first Day of spring.
