Daniel's twenty fourth week!

Week 24 2013.04.01-05
This week we had the presentation about Germany, we showed the kids some interesting facts about the country and the small conversation as well like always. At the end we had the round of questions and some of them got the correct answers :)

W tym tygodniu przedstawialiśmy prezentację o Niemczech. Przekazaliśmy dzieciom wiele ciekawych informacji na temat tego kraju. Jak zwykle odgrywaliśmy scenki z powitaniem w danym języku. Na koniec odbył się mini quiz  I nawet niektóre dzieci podawały poprawne odpowiedzi  :)

Gokhan had a great idea! He wanted to play twister with the kids, so instead of buying it, he built it with them, painting an old sheet with the squares. The kids obviously had fun and enjoyed painting with him!

Gokhan miał genialny pomysł ! Postanowił zagrać z dziećmi w grę twister I zamiast kupić grę, wykonał ją z dziećmi. Wykorzystał do tego talerze, stare prześcieradło. Dzieciaki oczywiście świetnie się przy tym bawiły!

At the end of the week, Marco and Ula came to see how were things going in our kindergarten, so we both did some sort of presentation with the kids for them. First was Gokhan's class and then it was mine. In my class I show them how the kids knew all of the colors in Spanish and then we played a fun game about colors. We did a lot of stuff like singing or showing the parts of the body in Spanish, or even counting numbers until 20 and some small conversations in different languages.
Pod koniec tygodnia odwiedzili nas Marco I Ula ponieważ chcieli sprawdzić jak sobie radzimy w przedszkolu. Dlatego obydwaj przygotowaliśmy dla nich wraz z dziećmi krótką prezentację tego czego nauczyliśmy dzieci. Pierwsza wystąpiła grupa Gokhana, potem moja. Moja grupa dzieci zaprezentowała znajomość kolorów po hiszpańsku I wspólnie bawiliśmy się w zabawę dydaktyczną związaną z kolorami. Pokazaliśmy wiele rzeczy. Śpiewaliśmy, nazywaliśmy części ciała po hiszpańsku I nawet liczyliśmy do 20 oraz zaprezentowaliśmy krótkie dialogi w innych językach.

Daniel's seventeenth week!

Week 17 2013.02.11-15
So my birthday was coming close and carnival as well. The week started with the creation of the masks, which the kids painted as they wanted using their imagination. Many crazy ideas came out of course!

Zbliża się okres karnawału. Ten tydzień rozpoczął się od tworzenia masek karnawałowych, które dzieci wykonały z masy papierowej I ozdabiały według własnego uznania, puszczając wodze fantazji. Powstało wiele ciekawych pomysłów!

The kids continued practicing with my camera. So here are some of the pictures they took.

Since my birthday was close to this week, I started creating a piñata to celebrate it. In Venezuela, is a tradition to use a piñata to celebrate children's birthdays. The idea is to hang from a rope a piñata and little by little try to destroy it by hitting it with a stick. Every kid in the party should at least hit once the piñata and the birthday girl/boy should finally break it. The inside of the piñata is full of candies and toys for the rest of the kids, who should grab as many as they can when it breaks.

Ponieważ zbliżały się moje urodziny, przystąpiłem do tworzenia piñaty, która miała je uczcić. W Wenezueli jest tradycja, zgodnie z którą organizowana jest zabawa z wykorystaniem piñaty na podczas urodzin. Zabawa polega natym, że tworzy się dużą zabawkę z masy papierowej, która wypełniona jest cukierkami I zabawkami. Następnie wiesza się ją na linie I dzieci kolejno uderzają w nią patykiem. Ostatnie uderzenie należy do dziecka, które ma urodziny. Potem dzieci zbierają słodycze I zabawki.

The creation is quite simple but it takes a lot of time and patience. I've never done it before so I had some difficulties and it didn't come out exactly as I wanted, but I had fun and I learned a lot while creating it. Marzena helped me a lot and also the kids helped me with the construction.

Stworzenie pinaty jest dość łatwe ale czasochłonne I wymaga cierpliwości. Nigdy wcześniej nie wykonywałem jej własnoręcznie, dlatego miałem małe trudności I rezultat mijał się troszkę z moimi oczekiwaniami. Jednakże stworzenie pinaty było świetną zabawą I wiele mnie nauczyło. Marzena bardzo mi pomogła, dzieci również.

The presentation of Turkey was this week, and they really enjoyed it! At this moment we only had a winner by presentation, so the girl/boy who would answer more questions about Turkey would get the flag. The winner this week was Pawel!

W tym tygodniu prezentacja dotyczyła Turcji. Dzieciaki bardzo się cieszyły! Dziecko, które odpowiedziało na największą liczbę  pytań dotyczących  prezentacji otrzymało flagę. Zwycięzcą był Paweł!

Daniel's thirteen week

This week was so different to any other week I've been here, since more than half of the kids were out for holidays, so the kindergarten was half empty and they mixed most of the classes together.

Ten tydzień był zupełnie odmienny od pozostałych. Wiele dzieci zostało w domach. Grupy były połączone.

On this week we couldn't do many special activities, but we took the time to teach them some new words in Spanish and Turkish. We taught them also some numbers and expressions. I was teaching them the parts of the face and they were enjoying it.

W tym tygodniu nie mogliśmy wiele zdziałać ale wykorzystaliśmy czas I uczyliśmy dzieci nowych słowek po hiszpansku I turecku. Uczyliśmy je liczyć. Nauczyłem dzieci części twarzy I bardzo im się podobało.

This week was more of playing and having fun, so that's what we did almost every day, play and have fun! Every time we wanted to leave the kindergarten they wouldn't let us leave!!

W tym tygodniu skupiliśmy się na grach I zabawach. Jeśli chcieliśmy wyjś z przedszkola dzieci nie chciały nas wypuścić.
